Introduce writers to digital storytelling in libraries

One of the core aspects of libraries is to support literacy, readers and writers. Libraries can help develop writers skills by introducing them to new forms of digital storytelling via workshops (eg interactive fiction and digital picture books ) and writing jams (eg Odyssey Jam & Bard Jam).

Why the contribution is important

Libraries focus on literacy, and this helps support the development of writers and readers with new forms of digital storytelling/writing. This can show writers that as well as writing existing on the pages of a printed book, it can also be presented in these new ways.
